International Anti-Corruption Day: UDS Joins the Global Integrity Movement

The corresponding agreement was signed during the ESG Matters: How Business Can Grow forum, organized by UNDP Ukraine with the support of the Government of Japan. On behalf of UDS, the memorandum was signed by Volodymyr Beshlei, Deputy CEO of UDS.

Today, 9 December, the world marks International Anti-Corruption Day — a date proclaimed by the UN General Assembly to strengthen transparency, integrity, and accountability in the public and private sectors.

For UDS, ethics and accountability are key priorities, as humanitarian demining requires the highest level of trust from the state, communities, and international partners.

To mark International Anti-Corruption Day, UDS signed a memorandum on preventing corruption, reaffirming its commitment to the principles of transparency and integrity.

UDS continuously works to ensure that its corporate processes meet international standards and that the company’s activities remain open, ethical, and accountable to communities and global partners.

It should be recalled that UDS has implemented an Anti-Corruption Program approved by the UDS Supervisory Board. The purpose of the Program is to ensure an effective system for preventing and combating corruption, as well as to align the company’s activities with anti-corruption legislation and international best practices.

The document outlines a comprehensive set of measures for preventing, detecting, and countering corruption within UDS. It establishes principles of zero tolerance for corruption, integrity requirements for employees, and the responsibility of management for fostering an ethical corporate culture.
