In recent days alone, UDS has neutralized 30 explosives in Kyselivka
These remnants of war were discovered during the clearing of the land by Mechanized Demining Group No. 3.
"The territory of Kyselivka is densely polluted with the remnants of explosives, because there were heavy battles with the enemy here two years ago. The village is almost destroyed, the fields are "strewn" with undetonated mines and ammunition," comments Eduard Drach, Technical Director of UDS.
"The UDS destruction team used the SF-1 metal burning product to defuse 26 unguided rockets and 4 mortar mines at one of the sites in Kyselivka. These explosives posed a serious threat to life, because they contained an explosive substance. The bottom line is that thanks to the exothermic powder mixture, SF-1 effectively burns through the metal shells of ammunition or mines, thus causing the explosives to burn out, and makes the explosives explosive," explained Eduard Drach.
It will be recalled that since mid-April this year, UDS has been demining in Kyselivka in a mechanized way using Bozena 5+ remote demining machines.
