Igor Bezkaravayny awarded UDS paramedics for saving lives after an explosive device detonation

Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Igor Bezkaravayny, presented awards to UDS medical department paramedics Alyona Kotsiurubenko and Yevhen Chernych for their exceptional professionalism, dedication, and high level of competence in performing their duties.

Thanks to their prompt and qualified assistance, the lives of victims injured in an explosive device detonation in Mykolaiv region were saved.

As a reminder, on November 19, near the village of Myrne, Mykolaiv region, employees of the Ingulets River Channels Management of the State Water Resources Agency of Ukraine detonated an unknown explosive device, ignoring safety warnings.

It turned out that the employees of the Channel Management were cleaning the canal near the area where UDS was conducting demining operations under a state tender.

Fortunately, UDS medical department paramedics Alyona Kotsiurubenko and Yevhen Chernych, who were working with a group nearby, promptly provided high-quality first aid to the victims.

UDS once again urges all citizens to value their own lives and safety! Under no circumstances should you be near areas where demining operations are being carried out, and do not ignore warning signs "Danger! Mines!", as this can lead to tragic consequences.
