GERMINA Took the Spotlight at the Security 2.0 Exhibition

UDS participated in Ukraine’s largest security industry exhibition — Security 2.0, where the company presented the Ukrainian humanitarian demining machine GERMINA-3000, manufactured by the Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant (KHMTZ).

The exhibition gathered leading manufacturers, humanitarian demining operators — both commercial and governmental, as well as international organizations, donors, and foundations.

During the live field demonstration, GERMINA showcased outstanding dynamics and speed on the test track, significantly outperforming both domestic and foreign machines. Its technical characteristics attracted considerable attention from participants and industry experts.

The GERMINA machine sparked interest among both Ukrainian and international demining operators, including: UDA (Ukrainian Deminers Association), Deminex (Ukrainian humanitarian demining operator), DAI Global (international mine action operator), Ukroboronservice (state demining operator), International Demining Group (Ukrainian humanitarian demining operator), and others.

Among international donors, particular interest in the machine was expressed by the World Food Programme (WFP) — the UN’s humanitarian donor organization.

🌍 The event also included a meeting with representatives of the FAO UN Mine Action and Land Rehabilitation Programme in Ukraine, who are well familiar with our company’s work and the capabilities of GERMINA. Discussions focused on expanding funding programs for humanitarian demining and enhancing the participation of Ukrainian operators in such initiatives. One of the key topics was the use of Ukrainian-made equipment, especially GERMINA.

Representatives of state institutions and diplomatic missions also joined the circle of interest, emphasizing the innovative nature of Ukrainian solutions in the field of humanitarian demining.

🇯🇵 In particular, a representative of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine attended the event and highly appreciated the features and performance of the Ukrainian demining machine.

Overall, GERMINA-3000 attracted the attention of a wide range of participants — Ukrainian and international humanitarian demining operators, government officials, donor programs, and international organizations.

We sincerely thank the organizers of Security 2.0 for the opportunity to participate in such a powerful professional platform. Events like this foster dialogue, strengthen international partnerships, and promote Ukrainian technologies and innovations that bring us closer to our shared goal — making our country free and safe.
