General Director of UDS: UDS has started cleaning a new facility in Kyiv region

UDS sappers have started clearing a new facility in the Kyiv region - the field is contaminated by anti-personnel mines.

The UDS team has 142 employees, 108 of whom are professional sappers. 30% are women. Every fourth is a veteran, a participant in hostilities.

Robotic machines are used in the work of UDS, which makes the demining process less risky and faster. We work in Mykolaiv, Donetsk and Kyiv regions.

The State Mine Action Center has already validated 269 of our demining reports.

Ukraine is the most mined country in the world - 140,000 square kilometers are contaminated by war. Soviet-style ammunition very often does not go off and remains explosive in the ground. Also, the enemy constantly uses remote mining, scattering anti-personnel and anti-vehicle mines over large areas. In the territories liberated from the Russians, there are many ambushes and stretches.

Currently, 48 operators of mine action activities are certified in the country, 19 operators are already working. UDS is one of the leaders in the field of humanitarian demining, the company has passed certification for compliance with Management standards ISO9001:2015, AQAP 2110:2016 "NATO requirements for design, development and production", Environmental management standard ISO 14001:2015, health management standard and occupational safety ISO 45001:2018.
