Free Non-Technical Survey for Farmers!
Farmers can receive a free non-technical survey (NTS) of their de-occupied fields to detect explosive remnants of war. This is the first step toward participating in the state program for compensation of humanitarian demining costs.
π To apply, you need to visit the website https://getbackto.land/ and register your field.
The goal of the project is to give farmers the opportunity to inspect their fields free of charge for explosive hazards. In case contamination is confirmed, farmers can then apply through the government system to receive state compensation for the costs of humanitarian demining.
The project ensures free NTS conducted by commercial operators, and when necessary β demining, which is financed by the state in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 284 of March 12, 2024. This resolution approved the procedure for using state budget funds allocated for compensation of costs related to the humanitarian demining of agricultural land.
The project is implemented with the support of Feodal, in cooperation with UNAGR (Ukrainian National Association for Humanitarian Demining), with the participation of 10 commercial demining operators. The platform was initiated by Andrii Demianovych, founder of Feodal.
π€ UDS became the first operator to offer free NTS services for farmers.
π We emphasize: even if the land has been de-occupied and cultivated but has not been surveyed, it still remains dangerous. Fields must be inspected, and when necessary β cleared, because mines and explosive ordnance βliveβ longer than a human lifetime.
