Farmers have returned to work on UDS-demined fields

In total, UDS has cleared 2,170.5 hectares of agricultural land.Now, where there used to be deadly danger, soil cultivation and crop sowing are already underway.

Demining was carried out in the Kyiv, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv regions.

“Thanks to our Bozena 5+ demining machines, these operations were completed quickly and safely. The fields have been cleared of the explosive remnants of war, and now farmers can work without fear for their lives while contributing to the recovery of local communities,”— said UDS Deputy Director General Volodymyr Beshley.

Details on the demined areas:

📍 Mykolaiv Region:

1. Farm Enterprise “SAVANNA”, Area: 251.6 ha, About 110 ha cultivated and prepared for barley/rapeseed sowing. The rest has not yet been processed.
2. Farm Enterprise “Valentyna”, Area: 148.1 ha, 100% cultivated: 40% already sown with wheat 🌾, 60% prepared and awaiting winter wheat sowing.
3. Farm Enterprise “SAVANNA”, Area: 90.1 ha, Land not yet cultivated, planned for processing in autumn.
4. LLC “KEDR”, Area: 86.3 ha, 100% cultivated, sown with sunflower 🌻
5. Private Entrepreneur Serhii Kishkovskyi, Area: 79.5 ha, 100% cultivated, disked, planned for barley and rapeseed sowing 🌾
6. Private Entrepreneur Oleksandr Zviryshyn, Area: 40.3 ha, 100% cultivated, soil prepared and awaiting winter wheat sowing 🌾
7. Farm Enterprise “Khrystus”, Area: 5.8 ha, 100% cultivated, soil prepared for winter wheat sowing

📍 Kharkiv Region:

1. LLC “Agrofirma Barvinok”, Area: 54.8 ha, 100% cultivated: soil prepared, planned for winter crops (wheat, barley)

📍 Kyiv Region:

1. Institute of Potato Research, NAAS of Ukraine, Area: 487.3 ha, 100% cultivated, sown with potatoes 🥔 and other crops
2. Institute of Potato Research, NAAS of Ukraine, Area: 434.5 ha, 100% cultivated: 60% potatoes 🥔, 40% prepared for winter crops
3. Institute of Potato Research, NAAS of Ukraine, Area: 318.3 ha, 100% cultivated, planted with potatoes 🥔, sown with sunflower 🌻 and grains (wheat, barley)
4. LLC “Agat Agro M”, Area: 96 ha, 100% cultivated, sown with sunflower 🌻 and rapeseed
5. Private Entrepreneur Olena Kryvosheia, Area: 77.9 ha, 100% cultivated, sown with sunflower 🌻 and corn 🌽
