Enhancing UDS Team Qualifications

Enhancing UDS Team Qualifications

From November 7 to December 29, specialists at UDS are undergoing a comprehensive training program aimed at advancing their qualifications, focusing on the "Main mine action processes, standards of operational procedures (SOP)." This program aligns with the stringent requirements of the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS).

The training, attended by 22 UDS employees, encompasses three modules, addressing various crucial aspects:

  • Familiarization and training on SOPs,
  • Non-technical inspection,
  • Public awareness about the risks associated with mines and explosive objects,
  • Technical inspection, manual demining, cleaning of conflict areas, organizational support for medical assistance during demining operations, equipment, and the practice of providing medical aid.

Each module focuses on a specific topic, culminating in the acquisition of skills ranging from technical and non-technical examination to the provision of medical assistance. This commitment to continuous improvement underscores our dedication to delivering high-quality security in territories liberated from invaders.
