Demining completed in Stoyanka, Kyiv Oblast
An external inspection team from the Mine Action Center has confirmed the completion of demining operations on two plots of land in the village of Stoyanka, covering a total area of 131,790 square meters and 1,663 square meters.
The process of issuing the corresponding certificates from the Mine Action Center, confirming the safety of these areas for further use, is currently underway.
Background: Despite not being occupied by Russian forces, the village of Stoyanka has been subjected to significant shelling since February 25, 2022, including airstrikes. As a result of prolonged and massive shelling, a large area of the village was contaminated with explosive remnants of war and required clearance.
