BOZENA 5+ remote demining systems are already operating in Mykolaiv oblast

The first step, in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures, is aerial photography and mapping of the area using the Mavic 3T quadcopter.

Based on the results of processing the entire array of information collected, routes are created for BOZENA 5+ demining vehicles, with which UDS sappers work. After the passage of the BOZENA 5+ vehicle, our sappers clear the land from the remnants of hostilities.

The last step is quality control, which is carried out by the relevant UDS unit, which consists of experienced professionals.

Next, UDS submits a report to the Mine Action Center. He, in turn, also carries out quality control.

So far, 5 groups of UDS mechanized demining sappers have been trained and trained in Slovakia and Ukraine. Our sappers-operators have the appropriate certificates for the right to operate BOZENA remote demining systems.

"Bozena is already the best in the world. It was purchased by Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sweden, Poland, and Sri Lanka. We are confident that it will also prove itself effectively in Ukraine. In general, the use of mechanized demining vehicles allows us to increase the level of safety of sappers and their effectiveness," said Serhii Tsykeniuk, Head of the Humanitarian Demining Department of UDS.

The Slovak BOZENA system is a remote vehicle designed to demine the territory from anti-tank and anti-personnel mines with an explosive resistance of up to 9 kg of TNT. The system has a main body, an on-board unit, operator's cabs and a transport platform-trailer. The machine is also equipped with a rotating device with a chain. During a work shift, such a machine can demine up to 2 hectares of agricultural land.
