Another rotation completed: over 500 hectares cleared by UDS sappers
The latest UDS operational rotation lasted 32 days, starting on March 10 — without days off.
During this period:
✔️ Demining of the “Barvinok” site in Kharkiv region was completed
✔️ Operations at the “Rytm” site in Mykolaiv region were completed
✔️ At “Derenkivtsi-1” and “Derenkivtsi-2” near Borodianka — nearly 500 hectares were cleared
All sites have either passed or are currently undergoing external quality control.
💬 “This rotation started in snowy conditions. We worked through the thaw, in wetlands, with rising groundwater levels — but the team kept going and gained valuable experience,” said Serhii Tsykeniuk, Head of the Humanitarian Demining Department “Center” at UDS.
A rotation period is now underway, allowing sappers to rest and recover.
Following the completion of the rotation, a debriefing meeting was held to discuss operational challenges, the company’s development prospects, and ways to improve productivity.
