Another 25 hectares of land belonging to the agroholding "PAEK" have been successfully demined
UDS Commercial Director Serhii Symonov personally presented a certificate confirming the clearance of the land from explosive ordnance to Inna Boyko, the director of "PAEK" during a recent meeting.
The demining services, including non-technical surveys, were provided free of charge by UDS as part of a memorandum of cooperation with the Mykolaiv District Military Administration. The demining operations were carried out on a 25-hectare plot of land in the village of Kyselivka, Mykolaiv region.
During the meeting, Symonov expressed hope for continued cooperation with PAEK in conducting humanitarian demining operations to return contaminated lands to productive use.
Inna Boyko, the acting director of "PAEK," emphasized the importance of state support in financing the full range of humanitarian demining services, including non-technical surveys, which are currently funded by agricultural producers.
Background: "PAEK" is a leading agricultural company in southern Ukraine, comprising dozens of enterprises involved in various agricultural activities. The company's land bank is nearly 50,000 hectares. Over 2,000 hectares of the company's agricultural land remain uncultivated due to heavy contamination with explosive remnants of war and require humanitarian demining. The company's management and employees have made significant efforts to clear over 20,000 hectares of land on their own and return it to its intended use.
