According to the results of the UDS survey of territories in the Mykolaiv region and Kyiv region, 616.5 hectares of land were recognized as uncontaminated
39 sites in the Mykolaiv region and 1 site in the Kyiv region with a total area of 616.5 hectares were recognized as clean, i.e., those where no evidence of contamination by explosive objects was found.
3 groups of non-technical UDS survey worked in these territories for the period from April to July 2024.
Surveys were conducted using an analytical and practical method.
"Recognizing the land as uncontaminated is a great responsibility of the group leader, because a lot of work is required for this," says Dmytro Garbuzov, head of the NTO No. 1 group.
"In some of these areas, fighting was still going on in the spring of 2022, so we had to extremely carefully analyze not only the results of practical surveys of the areas, but also the testimony of witnesses, materials of local self-government bodies, the State Emergency Service and the National Police" - noted the head of the NTO group No. 1, Dmytro Garbuzov.
