A new deminers’ rotation has started at UDS
Deminers from the UDS humanitarian demining departments “Center”, “East”, and “South” have begun a new working rotation that will last until April 4 inclusive and will run without days off. During this period, demining teams will be working simultaneously at several key sites across different regions of Ukraine, carrying out tasks to clear territories of explosive hazards.
Work is currently underway at the following locations:
▪️ “Derenkivtsi-1”, “Derenkivtsi-2” and “SG Reno” near Borodianka in the Kyiv region
▪️ agricultural lands of the Snihurivka community and “SG-Rytm” in the Mykolaiv region
▪️ “Barvinok” and “Yug-M” in the Kharkiv region
During this rotation, UDS plans to clear more than 600 hectares of land across three regions of Ukraine. The work will involve 12 demining machines and more than 20 demining teams.
Operations are carried out in accordance with the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) and UDS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The key priorities remain quality, safety, and efficiency of operations.
At the same time, the UDS Mechanized Demining Department continues working without interruption, ensuring a continuous clearance process through internal team rotations.
UDS is capable of operating year-round in all weather conditions, ensuring uninterrupted demining operations. We are bringing war-contaminated land back to life. 🇺🇦
