70.5 hectares of Landex Agro LLC land have passed internal quality control

Humanitarian demining operations on the agricultural land of Landex Agro LLC in the Izium District of Kharkiv Region are ongoing.

The total area of the site is 875.6 hectares.

To date, 70.5 hectares cleared by UDS have successfully passed internal demining quality control. These areas are now awaiting inspection by an independent inspection body.

During the operations, 42 explosive ordnance items were destroyed or rendered safe, including 45 mm high-explosive fragmentation and armour-piercing projectiles, a TMi-35M anti-tank mine, and a FAB-50 aerial bomb. The land was also cleared of other war-related debris.

More than 100 deminers and seven demining machines have been deployed to carry out the project.

The contracting authority for the project is the Humanitarian Demining Center.

As previously reported, an earlier section of the same site successfully passed external quality control of cleared land, conducted by specialists from the Demining Quality Inspection Department of the Mine Action Centre.
