35.4 hectares of agricultural land in Kyiv region returned to use
Humanitarian demining operations are ongoing on the lands of STOV “Derenkivets” in the Borodianka territorial community of Bucha district, covering a total area of over 500 hectares.
As of now, following external quality control, 35.4 hectares of land cleared by UDS have been officially confirmed as safe for use.

“The clearance was carried out in challenging conditions: wetlands, peat soil, and high water levels. Additional difficulties included unstable communication, active electronic warfare systems, and constant GPS disruptions. Despite this, our deminers successfully completed the task,” said Mykola Florko.
Demining operations were conducted using Bozena 5+ machines, the ‘Zmiiy’ system, and through Technical Survey (TS) applying BAC-V/BAC-SHM methods in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures.
Clearance of the agricultural land is still ongoing. Our teams continue to work step by step to return these lands to safe and productive use 🇺🇦
