217 Hectares of Farmland Cleared for Agrofirma YUG-M LLC
The site is located in the Izium district of Kharkiv region.
Client: Humanitarian Demining Center.
We have been carrying out clearance operations on this area since March 2026, pursuant to Order No. 571 issued by the Mine Action Center.
We engaged subcontractors: JV Nibulon, Incompass LLC, and DemineX LLC. We are grateful for their coordinated and dedicated cooperation!
The operations covered 55 cadastral parcels and 34 polygons of potentially contaminated areas. Four of our clearance systems operated on site: Bozena 5+, Germina, and two "Zmii" heavy mine clearance systems.
Various types of explosive ordnance (EO) were detected and neutralized across the agricultural fields, including artillery shells, mortar rounds, anti-tank mines, hand grenades, an Uragan MLRS rocket, and 9N210 submunitions. The land was also thoroughly cleared of metal fragments and other non-hazardous remnants of war.
“Our teams worked throughout the entire summer. The site was truly challenging: first, due to the security situation; second, due to the sheer volume of war debris, as this area had been an active battlefield,” noted Vitaliy Ilchuk, Operations Manager.
External Quality Control (QC) conducted by the Mine Action Center has now been successfully completed across all plots. Final documentation is currently being finalized for handover to the client.
Bringing war-contaminated lands back to life!
