Our Capabilities Showcased at the UTTC Opening
Today in Lviv Region, the official launch of the Ukrainian Training and Testing Complex (UTTC) began— a key element of Ukraine’s Mine Action Strategy through 2033. Over the next two days in the exhibition zone, UDS is demonstrating its equipment and machinery; participants can explore the operating features and tactical-technical specifications of the Bozena 5+ remote-controlled demining machine.
The event brings together representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of Mine Action, the Lviv Regional Military Administration, UNDP, OSCE, the tech and industrial cluster, mine-action operators, and other guests.
“We strive to create not just a proving ground but a full-fledged system for adapting solutions to real combat conditions,” emphasized Colonel Ruslan Berehulia, Head of the Main Directorate of Mine Action, Civil Protection and Environmental Safety and Head of the Secretariat of the National Mine Action Authority.
Across the two-day program, attendees will see demonstrations of engineering equipment, remotely operated vehicles and detection systems, training explosions, reconnaissance drone displays, and applied testing at five specialized locations—ranging from mechanized demining platforms to environmental impact-assessment areas.
UTTC was established in line with Ukraine’s Mine Action Strategy through 2033 as an innovative institutional structure that unites testing of cutting-edge solutions, personnel training, equipment certification, best-practice exchange, and coordination with international partners. UTTC will become the central element of the technical ecosystem for adapting solutions to the needs of the Armed Forces and other security agencies.
UDS Deputy CEO Volodymyr Beshley thanked the event organizers:
💬 “For Ukraine, it is extremely important to have such a proving ground—it combines experience, analytics, and manufacturing, enabling us to quickly adapt equipment and train people in real-world conditions.”
